The Eliot Community Service Department provides programs and special events for individuals of all ages. We strive to develop a variety of programs to serve the community’s interests. The program fees that we institute support our program costs, including but not limited to staffing, supplies, apparel, instruction and more. We try to keep our fees affordable and we continually evaluate and assess budget components.

In 2002, we formed a partnership with York Hospital. As part of our agreement, York Hospital generously provides an annual stipend to assist with staffing, supplies and scholarship funding for our programs. Scholarship funds are available for Eliot residents of all ages who wish to participate in our programs, but express financial hardship and need assistance with program fees.

The scholarship application process is simple and confidential. Scholarship candidates must complete the appropriate program registration forms and the scholarship application. Completed forms must be submitted to the ECSD at least three weeks prior to the program start date, unless a specific deadline is indicated.
